In 2023, Peugeot Sport made its highly anticipated return to endurance racing with the Peugeot 9X8, competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). This campaign celebrates the brand’s racing legacy by showcasing the 9X8 alongside its legendary predecessors—the victorious Peugeot 905 (1992, 1993) and 908 HDi FAP (2009) at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
A key focus was to highlight the connection between the 9X8 and the iconic 905, particularly in honor of Peugeot’s historic 1993 triumph, where the 905 secured a dominant 1-2-3 finish at Le Mans. Set in a minimalist yet striking environment, the visuals symbolically confront past and present, emphasizing the evolution of Peugeot Sport’s endurance machines. The campaign underscores the brand’s rich motorsport heritage and its relentless pursuit of innovation and performance in endurance racing.
